Parents always thought that they will still love their kids the same way as they did when the child is 3 and when the child is 13.
But as time goes by, the forget all about it.
They thought that their 13 yr old kid dont need to hear "i love you" or even a birthday cake on their birthday.
The fact is that we all need them.
The lack of communication or love at home starts with a parent action like not buying a birthday cake.
This cycle goes on as the child will think that: since my mum didnt buy me a birthday cake on my bday, why shld i buy one on hers.
