Burt couldn't help but rub it in.
Terry had claimed to have found the diet breakthrough of the century. He lost seven pounds.
Greg got hold of some miracle pills, and he lost eleven pounds.
Craig had mortgaged his house to buy a membership in a health club. He managed to lose fourteen pounds.
Burt had simply told his friends he was going to lose weight on the Jesus plan.
Whenever he got hun-gry between meals, he was going to go off and read the Gospels.
They had all laughed long and hard at him, but he who laughs last, laughs best.
Twenty-eight pounds had dropped because of the Jesus plan. There's nothing like it.

I cant help but feel disgusted abt my mum and her actions.
Till the day she goes back to reality, it will all be too late. She had destroyed the relationship and trust with her bad-temper, slander and lies. Too bad ive no money, if not i could have sue her for what she said last night. Probably she is just too inhumane for me to take; she actually twisted the facts arnd to make it justify to her. For the past one decade, whatever negative actions/words she did/say to me, she can just take it as nothing happen when i bring it up.
Just half to one decade more, i'll have got my degree and move out of the house. Till then, i'll be earning my own money and being at the best years of my life. Money makes the world go round and i agree. But money will nvr buy you the heart of your kids. Imagine being threaten of basic necessities just because you cannot live up to others' expection. I wasnt being born to meet others' expectation. Just wait and see. Ten years down the road i'll be earning bigger bucks than what my mum can ever. And i show prove that all that she said curse or swear will not be upon me My kids will live nvr get to experience what it is to be in a broken family or a dysfunctional family. They may nvr get utopia on earth, at least they have their family as a support.
Get it or not. Im going to trust God for my future, every part of it. Lets see who will have the last laugh.
Chanced upon Mrs.Ess's blog ytd. Was browsing thru her post and I saw something that I would like to give my kids in the future - a support and chance to know God thru his/her own hunger. My generation onwards will be different. God will make it happen.
